HEI Bristol 2013

The University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is one of the larger NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, with over 7,900 staff in nine different sites providing over 100 different clinical services. The Trust is one of the largest acute NHS Trusts in the country.

The trust has strong links with the local Universities and has become the the largest medical research and medical training centre in the South West.

Bristol is also home to the North Bristol NHS Trust – 9,000 staff – which is in the process of building a new state-of-the-art super hospital at its Southmeads site, due to complete in 2014.
